BORACAY-CATICLAN BOAT FARE ADVISORY

As previously promised by Caticlan-Boracay Multi-Purpose Cooperative (CBTMPC), effective July 1, Boracay-Caticlan and vice versa boat fares have been reverted back to ₱50.

A provisional fare increase matrix took effect last April 16, triggered by rising diesel prices and operational expenses affecting motorized banca operations servicing Boracay, due to the Middle East oil crisis.

For those with valid IDs, discounted fares can also be availed. Discount Cards for Boracay workers may be availed from CBTMPC. Interested applicants may submit their request to the CBTMPC Office in Caticlan, with a card fee of ₱200. Requirement: Working Permit from BPLO.
