Summer in Boracay is more than just sandcastles and swimming. The island offers many opportunities for kids to learn new skills, express creativity and build confidence while having fun. From cooking and swimming to art, music and playful learning, families can find meaningful activities for children of all ages.

1. Cook Your Own Meal at Indila Café

At Indila Café, tucked behind Hennan Lagoon in Station 2, kids can trade their swimsuits for aprons. Under the guidance of Chef Richard Gallego, young “little chefs” learn to prepare their own dishes. Each participant is provided with a chef’s hat, apron and all necessary ingredients, ending the session by enjoying the meal they created. It is a memorable way for families to bond while learning basic culinary skills.

When: Wednesdays and Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Cost: ₱727 per person (Maximum of 4 per session)

Reservations: (+63 961) 852 6317

2. Learn to Swim with Boracay Swimming Club

Founded in 2005, the Boracay Swimming Club has grown into a vibrant community promoting water safety and fitness and competitive swimming. Coach Mark’s Swimming Camp offers programs for all ages, from toddlers to adults. Beginners focus on safety and basic skills through fun activities, while advanced swimmers train in competitive strokes and endurance. The club has a proud history of producing competitive swimmers for regional and international meets.
