Despite the effects that Covid-19 has inflicted upon us, the community spirit of people living and stranded on Boracay has given me hope.
Each day on social media we see the valiant efforts being made by groups and individuals raising funds to distribute food supplies to our island’s families in need.
The genuine love for others the front-liners and everyone else shows makes me proud to be part of the people of Boracay..
For me, the often used phrase ‘Stay Home’ has morphed into ‘Stay Together’ - because that’s what this wonderful community has done.
